Land Rover Brooklyn is already the #1 volume Land Rover retailer in the Northeast — and we’re still growing.
We’re looking to add a select few proven automotive sales professionals to our team. If you have at least one year of true dealership sales experience (not retail, not call center — we mean actual in-store car dealership sales), and you’re looking to sharpen your skills, grow your income, and join a winning culture, we’d like to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
It’s important that before applying, you have a clear understanding of what we’re looking for. Our employees are the most valuable asset to the dealership, and we operate in a structured, high-expectation environment built around process, training, and accountability. We invest heavily in our people — but we expect results in return. If you’re looking for a store that takes the craft of selling luxury vehicles seriously, and provides both the support and volume to succeed, this is it.
Complacency doesn’t fly here. Our top performers understand that showing up early, using the CRM, and executing consistently are the baseline, not the bonus. For example: CRM usage by calling, emailing, texting, and leaving notes all through the software systems are non-negotiable. Arriving 15 minutes early is on time; on time is late; and late is unacceptable. A good work ethic isn’t enough — a great one is the minimum.
Career Path Overview
This role is for automotive sales professionals only. If you’ve sold vehicles in a dealership environment for at least one year — with real desk exposure, follow-up habits, and CRM usage — you’ll be considered for immediate placement on our sales floor. If you do not have prior in-dealership automotive sales experience — or if your resume doesn’t reflect it clearly — we have a Vehicle Acquisition (KBB) role that offers a structured training path towards sales. That’s where all non-industry candidates should begin. This posting is NOT for entry-level, retail crossover, or “interested in sales” applicants.
We’re looking for professionals who are ready to produce, build their pipeline of clients, and take advantage of the tools, inventory, and structure we’ve built. Once hired, your first 1–2 weeks will involve systems orientation, Land Rover training, and learning dealership operations. From there, you’ll immediately begin working active leads, managing your pipeline, and building your book of business. Most of our top performers are in full stride within their first 30-60 days.
Career Prospects and Company Culture
By now, it should be clear: career growth and personal development are part of our DNA. We take your success seriously – and we build a culture around people who do the same. You’ll be surrounded by a team that’s competitive, supportive, and genuinely fun to work with. You will laugh in every free moment - the energy this team brings is contagious. We cover for each other, push each other, and celebrate wins as a unit.
We are closed on Sundays and all major holidays. We all work our day off the last week of the month but any time scheduled off or out of the dealership otherwise is your space and time will be respected. And when you’re off, your team will cover for you. If you are great at what you do you'll make more money here than anywhere else. Our patience will match your persistence and desire to succeed. Thousands will apply but ultimately Land Rover Brooklyn will be for the extremely select few.
